Pan India Drugs and Chemicals (PIDCL) is to build a plant for the manufacture of trimethoxibenzaldehyde (TMBA), an intermediate used in the production of the drug trimethoprime. The 300 tonne/year plant will be built at Baroda with production planned for within a year.
