Norsk Hydro now has 100% ownership of Mabo, Norway's leading plastic pipe producer with sales of NKr350m ($47m), having acquired Uponor's 40% stake for NKr100m. Hydro regards the move as a step towards strengthening its involvement in semi-fabrication.
