Degussa, Germany, will increase its prices for pentaerythritol to DM2/kg by 1 April, to cover increased raw material and energy costs. Pentaerythritol, a polyol, is used in the production of alkyd resins, in resins for printing inks and in additives for lubricants, plastics, flame retardants and special products.
