ICI Acrylics has unveiled expansion plans

ICI Acrylics has unveiled expansion plans for Diakon polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) at Rozenburg, the Netherlands. Production will be increased to 40 000 tonne/year by mid-1996. Further expansion is planned to meet growth in demand this decade. The extra capacity will also provide feedstock for the recently-acquired extruded Perspex acrylic sheet plant at Nischwitz, Germany, and satisfy strong global demand for Diakon polymer.
