Ciba's polymers division has signed

Ciba's polymers division has signed a jv agreement with a Chinese partner, Shilou Town Economic Development, to establish Guandong Ciba Polymers Co in Panyu City, Guandong province. The jv will manufacture and market Araldite epoxy resins. A capacity of 30 000 tonne/year is expected and production is to start by Q1 1998. The investment will total SF25m ($7m).
