BF Goodrich's Telene products division plans to build a high purity dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) plant, producing merchant grades of 98% and 95% DCPD. The facility will be operational by the middle of next year and located at an existing site. The firm declined to reveal investment costs, plant location and technology to be used. The new unit will provide raw materials for Telene RIM polymers, a speciality plastic.
