DuPont China Holding Co has signed a joint venture agreement with Foshan No.3 Plastics Factory to produce polyester film, Mylar, in China. The new company, DuPont Hongji Films Foshan Co, will add a production line to Foshan's existing manufacturing facility in the Guangdong province in China. Total capacity will reach 20 000 tonne/year and the increase in capacity should be onstream by the end of 1996.
