The UK government is providing inadequate support for exports, technology transfer and R&D to British environmental technology companies, according to a survey published in conjunction with the Environmental Technology '96 exhibition. Four out of five companies do not benefit from the EuroEnviron or Link R&D schemes, or from the work of the joint environmental markets unit.
