Brown & Root has been awarded

Brown & Root has been awarded a contract to expand ammonia capacity at Arcadian's Augusta nitrogen fertiliser site, in Georgia, in the US. The project consists of process and equipment modifications to the Braun Purifier Process plant. The total installed cost is put at $8m. Capacity will be increased from 1700 tonne/day to 1900 tonne/day. Completion is expected by the third quarter of this year.
