Keystone Flow Control has introduced its Figure 260 range of heavy duty stainless steel butterfly valves which the company says are ideal for a wide variety of hygienic and corrosive services, providing benefits to a range of industries including chemicals and pharmaceuticals.

The quarter-turn butterfly valves offer bubble tight shut-off and a bi-directional capability. The body is precision machined from 316 stainless steel. The one-piece, wafer thin disc/stem assembly has a mirror finish, electro polished disc for enhanced flow and hygiene characteristics, as well as top and bottom PTFE stem bushes for increased reliability.

Designed with either screwed or butt weld connections, the Figure 260 range satisfies the stringent requirements of hygienic piping installations, ideal for manual or remote operation.

Manually operated valves have a stainless steel handle and a five position notch plate between fully open and fully closed positions. A standard top plate allows direct mounting of pneumatic or specially designed steel actuators available from the same company. It is available in sizes from 1 to 6 inches for pressure of up to 10 bar.
