Huntsman/Enron LoI

Huntsman has signed an LoI with Enron Liquid Services to build an ethylene plant in the US, with a production capacity of at least 1.5bn lb/year (680 580 tonne/year). Huntsman will operate the plant, which will be supplied by Enron's pipeline system. The project is expected to start up in 1999 and is tentatively sited at Port Arthur, Texas. Contracts will be awarded later this year.
