Great Lakes/Bromine in TBBA joint venture

Great Lakes Chemical Corporation and Bromine Compounds have started production of tetrabromobisphenol-A (TBBA) at their 50:50 jv, Tetrabrom Technologies, in Israel. An expansion at the 25 000 tonne/year unit is to be completed over the next twelve months. TBBA is used in ABS and epoxy markets.
