Babcock-King Wilkinson has received a letter of intent for a contract from SCM Chemicals. The contract outlines the provision of engineering and procurement services for the expansion of SCM's chloride-route titanium dioxide plant in Kemerton, Western Australia (ECN 4 March). Capacity will be increased to 190 000 tonne/year by Q1 1999.
