Delta facility approved

Bombay-based Delta Recycling has won government approval to set up a 100% export-oriented facility to manufacture 2000 tonne/year of plastic bags from recycled polymer. However, the government has stipulated that Delta cannot import plastic waste scrap. The US$278 000 project will be set up with second-hand imported equipment in the Raigad district of Maharashtra.
