Elf Atochem brings new plant onstream

Elf Atochem has brought onstream a new fluorinated specialities plant at Villers-Saint-Paul, northwest of Paris, costing some FF100m ($19.4m). It will produce fluorinated acrylic resins used as water and grease repellent agents and fluorinated surfactants primarily for fire-fighting applications.
