Sandoz confident of US approval for Ciba merger

Sandoz said last week it is confident its merger with Ciba will be approved by the US Federal Trade Commission on 21 December. The announcement follows the sale of Sandoz' construction chemicals division, MBT, to SKW Trostberg.
