Sinopec in Luoyang

SINOPEC is building a 225 000 tonne/year purified terephthalic acid (PTA) project in Luoyang city in the Henan province of China. Construction will start in May, for completion by end-1999.
Chiyoda Corp will build, design and supply technology. Marubeni will help with financial arrangements.
