Harris Chemical reported fourth quarter profits up 35% to $36m from $26m on sales that were up 3% to $165m from $161m. End of year results showed operating income up 45% from $53m to $77m on sales up 7% from $475m to $508m. The improvements were achieved from record road surface sales and a significant rise in potash fertiliser sales.
