Sinopec opts for Babcock

Sinopec-Luoyang Petrochemical has chosen Babcock King-Wilkinson to install its 160 000 tonne/year paraxylene plant at Luoyang, Henan, China. The plant, to use UOP technology, will be commissioned in 2000. It will feed a nearby 225 000 tonne/year purified terephthalic acid plant.
