Bayer improves emissions and waste figures

Bayer companies have reduced emissions and waste in recent years, managing board member Udo Oels said. Since 1990, waste water discharges have fallen by 'up to 75%', chemical production residues by over 20% and emissions have halved, he said. The quantity of wastes recycled has risen to 46%.
