Indian producer of organic chemicals Mardia Chemicals Ltd reported losses of Rs708.6m (US$19.8m) for 1996-97 on a turnover of Rs1.665bn, compared with a net profit of Rs300.8m on a turnover of Rs2.42bn reported last year.
