Dhrangadhra Chemical Works' results show a poorer performance for 1996-97 compared to 1995-96. The soda ash and inorganic chemicals producer earned a net profit of Rs17.5m (US$489 000) on a total income of Rs3.76bn, compared with 1995-96's Rs22.29m on an income of Rs3.95bn.
