AlliedSignal concludes buy of Swiss PFC

HOUSTON (CNI)--AlliedSignal announced Friday it has completed its acquisition of Pharmaceutical Fine Chemicals (PFC) of Lugano, Switzerland.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

PFC, a fast-growing producer and distributor of active and intermediate pharmaceutical fine chemicals, will be a part of AlliedSignal's speciality chemicals business.

AlliedSignal's speciality chemicals division manufactures and supplies speciality and fine chemical products for a diverse range of applications.

Morris Township, New Jersey-based AlliedSignal is an advanced manufacturing and technology company with $14.5bn in sales.
