AMSTERDAM (CNI)--A research project involving Dutch chemicals group DSM and Italy's Enichem has won the Lillehammer Award, the annual prize from the European Union's research programme Eureka for the most innovative environmental project.
Launched in 1991, the project seeks a recycling solution for plastic parts which are increasingly being used in cars.
DSM and Enichem's partners in the project include French car part manufacturer Reydel, and car makers Fiat and Peugeot/Citroen.
