ALCAN RUBBER & Chemical Inc. has introduced its Noxtite line of acrylic elastomers. The company says the products are well suited to the automotive industry, with applications in oil seals, gaskets, O-rings, hoses and anti-pollution components. The Noxtite line also offers strong chemical resistance to hot petroleum-based oils and fats, fuel oils, engine oils, gear oils and torque converter oils.

MITSUBISHI GAS Chemical America Inc. has debuted 1,3-BAC (bis amino-methyl cyclohexane), a cycloaliphatic diamine designed as a chemical intermediate or epoxy curing agent for applications in which color fastness and high amine activity are required, the company says. The product is a hydrogenated form of MXDA.
