SINGAPORE (CNI)--Indian Petrochemicals Corp Ltd (IPCL) expects to commission in Q1 2000 its chemical port in Dahej, operated by its joint venture, Gujarat Chemical Port Terminal Co, CNI was told Monday.
IPCL's partners are Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals, Gujarat Industrial Development Corp, Gujarat Industrial Infrastructure Corp, Gujarat State Fertilisers, and Gujarat Narmada Fertilisers Corp.
IPCL corporate communications manager Devendra Amin said the port will be able to handle ships of up to 40 000 dwt, and store 1.5m tonne of chemicals.
