LONDON (CNI)--Dutch-based Shell Chemicals said Monday it has appointed Caldic Belgium as distributor of its Shop alpha olefins packed products in the European region.
Terry Hewitt, Shell business manager for higher olefins and derivatives - Europe and Africa region, said: "This builds on the excellent relationship we have with Caldic since they took on the distributorship of detergent products." Caldic has been acting as a distributor of Shell detergents in western Europe for the last two years.
Alpha olefins are base materials for the manufacture of detergents, plasticisers, synthetic lubricants.
