Spanish expansion

Hoocker, part of the Synthesia Espa–ola Group, has completed an expansion of its polyester capacity at Castellbisball, Barcelona. The company invested g3m in a specialities plant, a second independent unit to produce low fogging and emission polyesters, and in the debottlenecking of existing units. The project raises the company's capacity to 36 000 tonne/year of conventional polyesters, 8000 tonne/year of polymeric polyesters, 3500 tonne/year of speciality polyesters and 12 000 tonne/year of low fogging and emission polyesters.
