Basell breaks ground for S'pore SM/PO unit on 11 Jan

SINGAPORE (CNI)--Basell Eastern, the 50:50 joint venture here between BASF Southeast Asia and Shell Eastern Petroleum, said Tuesday it will break ground for its worldscale styrene monomer/propylene oxide (SM/PO) plant on Jurong Island on 11 January.
The event will be officiated by Trade and Industry Minister George Yeo.
