SINGAPORE (CNI)--Teijin Chemicals, Japan, aims to raise its global polycarbonate (PC) capacity to 600 000 tonne/year by 2005, CNI was told Thursday.
A company spokesman, who said Teijin now has installed capacity of 180 000 tonne/year (120 000 tonne/year in Matsuyama, western Japan, and 60 000 tonne/year in a new plant in Singapore), considers itself to be among the world's top suppliers of PC, especially optical-grade PC.
