Akzo Nobel Functional Chemicals LLC will raise the list and off-list prices of its Fyrquel phosphate ester industrial hydraulic fluids by 90c. per gallon, effective May 15. On June 1, the company will raise the list and off-list prices of Syn-O-Ad phosphate ester oil additives by 3c. to 6c. per pound, and the prices of Fyrol PCF and CEF chlorinated phosphate esters by 5c. per pound.

Akzo Nobel Polymer Chemicals LLC is increasing its off-schedule prices for selected organic peroxides by 5 percent, effective June 1. The products affected are Trigonox 21, 23, 25, 29, 42S, C, and F-C50.

BASF Corporation will raise the price for propargyl alcohol by 5 percent, effective May 1.

Degussa-Håls Corporation will raise its list and off-list selling prices for all treated and untreated grades of fumed silica by 5 percent, effective May 15.

Eastman Chemical Company is increasing the small-order premium price for Eastman sucrose acetate isobutyrate products in North America, effective May 1. List prices are going up 20c. per pound for 3-to-9 drum/pail quantities, and 40c. per pound for 1-to-2 drum/pail quantities.

Elf Atochem North America Inc. will raise its prices for a range of alkyl alkanolamines products, effective May 15. In the methyls family, monomethylamino-ethanol, dimethylaminoethanol, methyldi-ethanolamine and MDEA-LF will go up by 5c. per pound.

Ethyls, diethylaminoethanol and Pennad 150 will increase by 5c. per pound, and ethylaminoethanol will go up by 7c. per pound.

Propyls, isopropylaminoethanol (mixed), isopropylaminoethanol and diisopropylaminoethanol are all going up by 7c. per pound.

Also going up by 7c. per pound are n-butylaminoethanol, n-butyldiethanol-amine, n-butyldiethanolamine (photographic grade), t-butylaminoethanol, t-butyldiethanolamine, and dibutylamino-ethanol. In addition, alkyl propanols dimethylamino-2-P (77 percent mixed) and dimethylamino-2-P (anhydrous) are increasing by 7c. per pound.

International Specialty Products will increase the list and off-list prices of its specialty polymers by an average of 3 to 5 percent, effective June 1.

OMG will raise the prices of its PlastiStab liquid mixed metal PVC heat stabilizers and its PlastiStab building block products by 6c. per pound, effective June 1. The company will also increase its prices for blends of stabilizer and epoxidized soybean oil by 3c. per pound.
