ADM Picks MarketersArcher Daniels Midland Company has picked FCB Chicago and BSMG Worldwide, both units of True North Communications, to develop an integrated corporate branding campaign and a communications framework for customers, suppliers and investors. Units of BSMG will lead the consumer and corporate public relations initiatives as well as handling investor relations. FCB will handle the company's advertising efforts, which will include consumer, B2B and direct marketing campaigns.
Seltzer in China
Seltzer Chemicals Inc. has established a liaison branch office in China. Located in Hefei, Anhui, in central China, the office will serve Seltzer by focusing on securing raw materials, as well as providing specific market information to Chinese manufacturers contracted with the company.
Intellifact Expands Globally

Pesticide Website Expands
Kelly Registration Systems (KRS) has added four more states to its network of Websites dedicated to tracking pesticides registered for use in those states. Starting originally with Oklahoma, the Covington, Ga.-based KRS has now partnered with Nebraska, Oregon, South Dakota and Idaho. The state-specific Websites are a one-stop source of information on all pesticides registered for use in a participating state. PPG Honors Suppliers
PPG Industries has recognized 10 of its suppliers for extraordinary performance in 1999 and presented them with excellent supplier awards. The awards went to Corhart, for chrome refractory materials; Dow Specialty Chemicals, for solvents; Folks Creative Partners, for labels; Hazmat Environmental Group, for hazardous waste transportation; Kirkpatrick & Lockhart, for legal services; Lloyd Transportation/Quality Carriers, for bulk motor freight transportation; Monofrax, for fused-cast refractory; PanCanadian Energy Services, for natural gas; Russell-Stanley, for high-density polyethylene drums; and South Hills Movers, for shipments of household goods.
FMC Distributes Bio-Cide
FMC Corporation's active oxidants division has signed a limited exclusive distributorship agreement with Norman, Okla.-based Bio-Cide International Inc. (BCI). Under the agreement, FMC will market and distribute BCI's Oxine and ProOxine stabilized chlorine dioxide sanitizer and disinfectant solutions to the food processing industry and support applications in pharmaceutical plant equipment sanitizing and wastewater treatment.
