Germany raises Ludwigshafen 'Luganil' leather dye capacity

LONDON (CNI)--Germany's BASF said Friday it has invested DM12m ($5.6m/Euro6.1m) in expanding production of 'Luganil' leather dyes at Ludwigshafen, Germany.

A spokesman said the number of production lines has been raised from two to three, and the plant's capacity is now "a few thousand tonnes" per year.
