Wacker Moves to China

Wacker-Chemie GmbH and Wacker Polymer Systems GmbH & Co., both based in Germany, opened a technical center in Zhang Jiang Hi-Tech Park, Pudong, Shanghai, this month. The center will support an expansion of Wacker's activities in Asia. According to both companies, opening the center in Shanghai is an essential step in their strategies for strengthening their businesses in East Asia's silicone and polymer markets for construction applications.
