CELANESE has set up Celanese Ventures GmbH to promote research projects outside its core businesses, including membrane electrode units for fuel cells, new catalysts for high-performance polymers, and innovative food ingredients.VANTICO AG, formerly the performance polymers division of Ciba Specialty Chemicals, will sell parts of its polyamide business. That unit's products are currently made in Bergkamen, Germany, and Singapore.
