LONDON (CNI)--Global plastics e-marketplace Omnexus has set up a new team to speed the learning curve for customers using the online trading service.

US-based Omnexus said in a statement received Wednesday that a three-person 'e-procurement solutions' team had been established to help customers. The company said that the team would "assist customers in using Omnexus for greater supply chain efficiency".

The three members of the e-team are Mike Sievers, Doug Bray and Mark Diaz. Sievers was previously running sales and marketing efforts for a urethane flexible foam business.

Bray, having earlier been a manager with a major injection moulding firm, was vice president and a chief operating officer of two technology start-ups. Diaz was previously vice president for sales and marketing for a business-to-business e-exchange for new and pre-owned medical equipment.
