LONDON (CNI)--Second quarter European styrene contract prices have been settled at Euro700/tonne, CNI learned on Thursday.

ICIS-LOR, the price reporting service and sister company to CNI, reported that two Northwest European majors agreed a contract at Euro700/tonne free delivered (FD) Northwest Europe. This is some 9.7% below the Euro775/tonne for Q1.

The agreement follows Q2 settlements on butadiene, paraxylene (PX), toluene and benzene.
