LONDON (CNI)--AtoFina, the chemicals division of Franco-Belgian energy group TotalFinaElf, confirmed to CNI on Friday that its new 60 000 tonne/year polystyrene (PS) line at Carling, France will now come onstream in October.
Earlier, AtoFina had said the new PS line will be commissioned around June or July.
A spokeswoman said that after the new line come has come onstream, the total PS capacity at Carling will reach 210 000 tonne/year.
