Alliance to market new TPEs in China

Advanced Elastomer Systems (AES), a joint venture between ExxonMobil Chemical and Solutia, and Sei Woo Rubber Works have reached a strategic alliance to develop and market new engineered thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) in China.

AES is a world leader in TPEs while Sei Woo is a leading producer of custom-moulded precision rubber components.

Said Sei Woo executive chairman, YK Low: 'The alliance will strengthen Sei Woo's position as a world-class provider of polymeric products dedicated to meeting customer expectations.'
