The UK's Health and Safety Commission is seeking comments on proposals to make extensive changes to regulations covering the classification and labelling of dangerous goods. The new regulations, proposed for implementation in mid-2002, would require classification and labelling for environmental effects, warnings for allergic reactions, and changes to the wording for category 3 carcinogens. Pesticides and biocides will be included. Suppliers will have until July 2004 to comply.
