Moftec starts acrylic dumping probe

China's Ministry of Foreign trade and Economic Co-operation (Moftec) has launched an investigation into alleged dumping of acrylic acid esters from South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.

Four different grades of acrylic acid esters are included in the investigation, including methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, butyl acrylate, 2-ethyl hexyl acrylate.

Moftec will investigate imports between July 2000 and June 2001. Parties involved are required to submit information to the State Economic and Trade Commission within 20 days from 10 October.
