LONDON (CNI)--Butachimie, the 50:50 joint venture between Rhodia and DuPont, said Wednesday it has raised production from its adiponitrile (ADN) plant in Chalampe, France to 85% but does not expect to run the unit at full capacity until 2003.
Andre Blazquez, president of Rhodia's polyamide division, told CNI the 480 000 tonne/year plant will be operating at 100% when demand picks up in 2003.
The Chalampe plant was expanded from 320 000 tonne/year last year.
