LONDON (CNI)--Rohm Methacrylates, a subsidiary of German chemicals company Degussa, has completed the debottlenecking and maintenance of its methacrylic acid plant in Worms, Germany.

A source at Rohm told CNI on Friday the plant will start operating again early next week. No details of the plant's original capacity or the size of the expansion were disclosed.

He also confirmed that Rohm's methyl methacrylate (MMA) plant at Worms will be shut for two weeks later this month for routine maintenance.
