Accelrys, Personal Chemistry Team in Software
Licensing
Accelrys Inc., a subsidiary of Pharmacopeia Inc., and Personal
Software have formed a software licensing agreement and technology
alliance. Accelrys will license the use of and provide integration
support for Accord for Oracle and Accord Chemistry Council, an
Active Xae-based control that will be integrated into Coherent
Synthesis to provide computational and data management
functions.
SciQuest in Product Release
SciQuest Inc., a software and information services company to the
life sciences and other research-based industries, has released
SciQuest Enterprise Reagent Manager version 4.4, a laboratory
chemical management system that offers selection, requisitioning,
inventory management and health and safety management.
TRW Forms Chemicals Practice
TRW Inc. has formed a focused chemical industry practice to provide
specialized security services to chemical manufacturers and their
transportation, warehousing and distribution partners. The TRW
chemical practice, which is part of TRW's critical information and
asset protection business, offers industry-specific physical and
cyber solutions, such as vulnerability assessments, site security
surveys, perimeter security, intrusion detection, access control
and transportation asset protection.
Rely Software Ups Installations
Rely Software Inc., a provider of global transportation management
solutions to the process industry, has integrated its Rely
Logistics Platform into more than a dozen of its customers'
existing platforms, including a recent installation at KoSa. The
Rely Logistics Platform manages the entire life cycle of a shipment
from planning and optimization.
Intergraph, Rhoditech Team
Rhoditech, the design engineering and project management arm of
Rhodia SA, is deploying the Web-enabled eMarian materials and
procurement management system provided by the process, power and
offshore division of Intergraph Corp. Intergraph's recent contract
with Rhoditech includes eMarian Web-enabled modules for bulk
material life cycle library, engineering and procurement
integration, material supply chain management and site management.
