Kerr-McGee to raise global TiO2 prices 1 August

HOUSTON (CNI)--Kerr-McGee announced a global increase Tuesday for its Tronox titanium dioxide (TiO2) pigments effective 1 August that includes a boost of $132.24 (Euro134.94)/tonne in the US for all grades except specialties.

For specialties in the US, Kerr will raise prices by $176.32/tonne.

Elsewhere the price/tonne will increase by $131.09 in Canada, $196 in Europe, $85.71 in Australia and $150 in Japan, South America and the Asia-Pacific region.

Based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Kerr-McGee is an integrated oil company with a large chemicals division focused primarily on the TiO2 business.
