LONDON (CNI)--Resolution Performance Products said Monday it will increase the prices for epoxy resins, epichlorohydrin (ECH) bisphenol A (BPA), cardura glycideylester and versatic acids in Europe and Africa from 1 October.

The hike follows an announcement from the US–based company last week of price increases for the products in Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

The increase for Europe and Africa are as follows: Euro100/tonne for epoxy resins and related products, Euro100/tonne for ECH, Euro100/tonne for BPA and Euro75/tonne for cardura glycideylester and versatic acids.

Resolution Performance Products, which is owned by US-based investment firm Apollo Management, produces epoxy resins at plants in Germany, The Netherlands, Spain, the UK, Japan and the US.
