Huntsman, Third Coast team for N Am PG spot market

HOUSTON (CNI)--Huntsman International said Wednesday it has entered an agreement with Third Coast Chemicals for spot market sales of Huntsman's propylene glycol (PG) and di-propylene glycol in North America.

Houston-based Huntsman will retain supply and sales responsibility for its PG contract customers, the statement said.

Third Coast, also Houston-based, will take on responsibility for marketing services, sales, customer service and logistics to Huntsman's PG distributors and spot market customers.

The agreement takes effect 1 October. A Huntsman spokeswoman was unable to say when the agreement is set to expire.
