BASF is set to increase output at its polymer dispersion plant in Cengkareng, Indonesia. Production will rise from 50 000 tonne/year to 95000 tonne/ year. The company said that design and engineering work were already under way and completion is slated for early in 2004.The project will require an investment of $10m. BASFsaid that the extra capacity will allow it to increase production of both acrylic and carboxylated styrene butadiene dispersions at the site.
