Holliday Named Chairman of The Business Council

DuPont chairman and CEO Charles O. Holliday has been elected chairman of The Business Council, a Wash-ington, D.C.-based organization that discusses publicpolicy and economic issues with top officials of government and specialists in other fields. Elected with Mr. Holliday as vice chairmen were Jeffrey R. Immelt, chairman and CEO, General Electric Company; A.G. Lafley, president and CEO, Procter & Gamble Company; Franklin D. Raines, chairman and CEO, Fannie Mae; and G. Richard Wagoner, president and CEO, General Motors Corp.
