EU chemicals policy consultation web site now live

LONDON (CNI)--A web link allowing on-line comments on the European Commission’s (EC) controversial new chemicals policy proposals is now live.

 

A slight delay in activating the link from the EC draft legislation website meant it was not operational on 7 May when the final detailed proposals were published and the Commission announced an eight-week Internet consultation period.

 

The closing date for the consultation period remains 10 July.

 

The EC has invited comments on the workability of its proposals. Respondents can enter their comments by completing an on-screen form on the EC’s special web site at http://europa.eu.int/yourvoice/consultations/index-en.htm or write into the address provided.
